Other common names: common buttonbush, buttonwillow, globe-flower, honey balls
Mature Height: 3-12 ft
Soil / Climate: Likes swampy areas, but will grow on dryer ground.
Notes: Leaves grow opposite or whorled in threes or fours around stem. Autumn color is dull yellow or green.
Wildlife: Seed is eated by the mallard, wood duck, and many others. The nectar is eaten by the hummingbird.
