Notes: Branches bowed outward, densely pubescent when young. Leaves are oval to rounded and tough, 1 - 2.5 cm long, dark green on top, and pubescent, dense, yellowish tomentose beneath. Leaves are distinctly veined. Flowers 3 - 7 in pubescent corymbs, petals erect, pink or white with red in June. Fruit is red, glossy, globose, 6mm thick, several or singular with 3 - 5 seeds.
